Banarsi is a labor of love, a luxury statement. It’s a heavier saree with rich bold colors, hours of labor put together to make one fine saree. The weave, the craftsmanship is one of the finest in the world.
Classic banarasi Meenakari saree in red and orange. Body of the saree has beautiful paisley motifs in gold zari and Meenakari resham (colored) threads. Border and pallu of the saree has solid gold zari. Color of the blouse is red with gold zari border.
This saree is a little over 2.8 pounds (1 kg) approximately.
**Saree pico, falls finished, blouse is cut and sent as a separate item, unstitched. Pretty tassles are attached to the end of the pallu.
